Connecticut Trooper Helping Me Redirect My Route

Being Autism Awareness Month, I wanted to share my first interaction with the CT State trooper on my way home from work. You can listen to my interaction between myself and the trooper. From watching Fridays with Frank, I learned how to interact with police and remain calm. #autism #autismawareness #ctstatetrooper #fridayswithfrank #rover2-4k #connecticut #dashcam #dashcamvideos #statepolice #autismawarnessmonth

I just saw your interaction with the CT officer and I was so impressed with how you handled yourself. I'm a big fan of Fridays with Frank, too! I'm a mom with autism and I have 2 adult sons in their 20s with autism. Will be showing them your YT video to hopefully build their confidence about driving and talking with officers.

Thank you. I continually watch videos and interactions online to keep situations like this fresh in my mind. I understand that anything can happen while I’m driving. Even if a situation happened one day, the next time it might be different. I’ve written a book about my journey to getting my driver’s license titled The Broken Pedal on Amazon. Good luck to you and your sons!
