Fixed Movie Review

I'd like to talk about Fixed by Genndy Tartakovsky (who you may know has done shows such as Dexter's Laboratory, Samurai Jack, Star Wars: Clone Wars, Primal, and the Hotel Transylvania movies) that I watched on the last day of last year and…it was quite an experience, to be honest. It’s not very often that we get animated movies that are still 2D and rated R. While still loaded with strong language, raunchy humor that went into the dark zone from time to time, and more detailed animal parts compared to what animation typically does that renders it certainly not for kids, I appreciate that it doesn’t go overboard with it like how the trailers made it seem like that led many to already treat it scornfully. It still manages to be a decent comedy film with a star-studded cast and relatable pet humor that shows 2D animated movies can still happen and studios shouldn’t be afraid to make them adult-oriented rather than always be family-friendly.

I’d give it a 7/10
